North American Pairs – NAP

Club Qualifying Begins in June and Runs Through August

Combined Unit and District Finals (for District 13) are October 16, 2004

 

The North American Pairs (NAP) event is a prestigious “grass roots” event.  There are three flights determined by a player’s masterpoint accumulation. 

 

Flight A

Open event

Flight B

0 to 2000 masterpoints

Flight C

0 to 500 masterpoints
and only open to Non-Life Masters

 

First Place District Winners in each flight receive roundtrip airfare and three nights lodging (to the Spring Nationals).

 

Second Place District Winners in each flight receive roundtrip airfare.

 

Third Place District Winners in each flight are invited to participate.

 

Stage 1             “Club Qualifying” is held at the club level in June, July and August.

 

Stage 2             “Combined Unit and District Final” is the last stage that determines the top three

3 pairs in each flight that advance to the National Finals at the 2005 Spring

NABC in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

 

This year, the Unit Qualifying and District Finals are combined into one day
